1418 is a 4 year old team created back in 2004. The team has maintained their place in the First competitions by school donations and charity by parents. Their low funding ends up forcing them to use inexpensive items, and come up with creative solutions to solve the First Challenges. This year the team is comprised by mostly seniors and a rising class of sophomores who will take their place next year in being the best of the best.
